Co-Founders Eric and Steve organized AppFury in the Fall of ‘09 with the first item of business being the conceptualization and development of their own hyper-local location-based line of iPhone apps marketed under their “inmypocket” brand name.  AppFury released SOHOinmypocket just a few months later to great acclaim and was featured by Apple as New and Noteworthy.

Shortly thereafter, calls from businesses and entrepreneurs began coming in, requesting AppFury’s development services.  Seeing the market potential, Eric and Steve changed the company’s course and opened AppFury’s doors to the public in the summer of 2010.
